Adam Steiner, PLA, ISA-CA

Adam has a passion for creating spaces that enhance the quality of life and the environment. While he explored three different majors in college, he chose landscape architecture after an introduction to an influential professor and the realization that the practice combined planning, drafting, graphics, construction details, and design all in one field. Although driven by his love of nature and a desire to make a positive impact on the world, Adam freely admits he is not your typical landscape architect. While he appreciates a beautiful project and the excitement of the final ribbon-cutting ceremony, he’s most excited about the design process and ensuring clients and staff enjoy the process along the way. This philosophy has allowed Adam to build deep relationships and garner immense client loyalty.

Adam is driven by the diversity of project types at J2 where he feels part of a family and team that shares his vision and values. When he is not mentoring young professionals or running the firm’s landscape architecture group, Adam loves to travel (he’s been to almost all 50 states), watch sports, spend time with his family including Roscoe, a 100 lb. greyhound they adopted after being rescued from a track in Alabama.
