KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Engineer II in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on design and technical documentation. You will collaborate with a team in the development of construction plans for a variety of transportation improvements from initial concept through construction administration. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.

Designing and creating technical drawings in MicroStation or AutoCAD Carlson design software.

Communicating across a multidisciplinary design team.

Participating in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university

2 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically transportation design

Strong oral and written communication skills

Enthusiasm for team collaboration and mentoring junior engineers

Experience in MicroStation (preferred) or AutoCAD

Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) preferred, Engineer-In-Training (EIT) within 1 year required
