KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Transportation Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on design and technical documentation. You will collaborate with a team to prepare construction plans for a variety of transportation improvements from initial concept through construction administration. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.

Designing and creating technical drawings in MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Carlson design software.

Communicating across a multidisciplinary design team.

Participating in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering (or equivalent) curriculum at an ABET-accredited university

Strong oral and written communication skills

Enthusiasm for team collaboration

Experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD is preferred
